Open 24h but between 8AM and 6PM for checking in/out. Please let us know if you arrive or leave on a different time!


We serve local and homemade (free) breakfast between 8.30AM to 10.30AM. The kitchen can be used the whole day.


We have hot water all day long.

Common areas

We encourage the meeting of all our guests, but please be quiet after 12AM.


Will be opened from 6PM to 12AM – special events will be held.

Swimming pool

Will be opened from 10AM to 8PM during spring and summer season.


1. Check in

New arrivals can check into their rooms from 2PM. Guests may arrive earlier and leave their luggage at the hostel (free of charge) We require that some form of valid photo identification is presented upon check in, preferably a passport, I.D. card or driving license. If you do not provide it, we reserve the right to decline your booking and charge the amount corresponding to your first night. Payment shall be processed at this moment. Remember to let staff know if you wish to extend your stay!

We will provide you with: fresh linen, keys (for the room and for the locker), and a bracelet due to security reasons.

2. Check out

Check out is at 11AM. If you check out late, you will be asked to pay for an extra night, so make sure you’re up and ready in time! Remember that before leaving you will have to give us back: the linen, the keys, the bracelet and anything else you have been given or rented.

3. Room allocation

When booking a bed in a dorm for you and your friends, we may not be able to put you in the same room. You can send us an email and check if we have availability to put you all together or book a private room.

4. Room keys

Upon check in, all guests will receive a key for access to their room. Entrance door will always be opened by a staff member upon guest identification as a safety measure. If you lose your key, we charge 3US$ for a replacement.

5. Age restrictions

Bookings cannot be accepted from any person under the age of 18 unless they are accompanied by a responsible adult (over 18). Moreover, they can only stay at private rooms.

6. 72-hour Cancellation policy and No-Shows for Standard Bookings (does not apply for special offers)

a) Valid credit card is required as guarantee at the time of making the reservation. At this point we do not charge any amount. Accommodation will be paid for upon arrival.

b) Cancellations and modifications are allowed up to 72 hours prior arrival without any costs.

c) In case of cancellation (less than 72h) or no show: we will charge the first night’s rate on your card.

7. Booking

If you do not want to use your credit card, you can send us an email and we will provide you with further information on how to proceed.

8. Guest behavior

The comfort, safety and security of our guests is of major importance to us. Any guest who, in the opinion of our staff, compromises the comfort, safety or security of other guests, staff or local residents will be requested to leave the hostel premises and will not be given a refund. Guests are expected to respect other guests as well as staff, local residents and property.

9. No smoking/No drugs

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Caravan BA Hostel Boutique building. Any guest found smoking inside the building will be fined 50US$.

Drug use is illegal in Argentina. Any guest found using drugs within the building will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be given a refund.

10. Alcohol consumption

Alcohol consumption is only allowed for guests over the age of 18. It is not permitted to enter the premises with alcohol. If you are found entering the building with alcohol you will be charged 50US$ and all alcohol will be confiscated until you leave the building at check out. Alcohol is available in the bar and can be consumed in the common areas ONLY (not in the rooms).

11. Entering the Hostel

No outsiders / visitors are allowed to enter the hostel premises. If you want to invite someone, just ask reception staff!

12. Personal Property

Conformal lockers for all your items are located in each room. Therefore, it is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that their personal belongings are secure at all times. We accept no liability for the loss, theft or damage to guests’ property, however sustained or caused.

13. Damage to Caravan BA Property

Guests will be expected to reimburse Caravan BA for any damage caused by inappropriate behaviour during their stay, which will be detailed to them on check in.

14. Liability

Caravan BA liability remains, at all times, limited to the value of the services booked.

15. Your infromation

Caravan BA shall only store and use information you supply to us or which is supplied to us for the purposes of carrying out our contract with you, and to inform you of other services and offers which we make available from time to time.

16. Discretion

All bookings are subject to availability and Caravan BA reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.

17. Lending

We can lend you several things such as chargers, plugs, hairdryer, etc. you will be asked for a deposit before using them. The deposit will be given back to you at check out (if it is in the same conditions as when we gave it to you!).

18. Renting

We also rent some stuff, such as towels and bicycles. Please bear in mind that apart from the renting fee you will be asked for a deposit before using them. The deposit will be given back to you at check out (if it is in the same conditions as when we gave it to you!).
